Time
7 days minimum - 18 days maximum. We fly in a small commercial plane (or helicopter if you can afford it) from Kathmandu to Lukla at 2500 meters and then scoot down the trail to Phakding (go on pronounce it) for our first night and then, all being well and everyone happy, on to Namche Bazaar and magnificent views of the Himalayas the next day. From here, after a day's rest, we enter the high Himalayas, 3500 - 5500 meters depending on your time frame. We must point out, that everything in Nepal is weather dependent, and sometimes we find ourselves adapting when we'd have preferred not to. However, In Nepal, there's always an alternative.
